Programs for Adults
RISE Program
Our RISE (Recreational, Individualized, Social, and Educational) Program is a weekly small group for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Participants spend time with our friendly and funny adult goats, building confidence and connection. Sessions are tailored to participants' preferences and may include brushing the goats, feeding treats, preparing goat meals, educational games, gardening and other nature-based experiences. Our goats are curious and affectionate, each with their own personality to discover, offering opportunities for meaningful moments together.
Days: Mondays 11:45am - 12:30pm or Wednesdays 2:30pm - 3:15pm
Rate: $160 for a 4-week series
Approved for DDS self-directed programming and coordination with some provider agencies.
Individual Animal-Assisted Therapeutic Sessions
Our weekly individual sessions offer adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities meaningful time with our friendly goats in a supportive environment. Sessions are tailored to each person's strengths and interests and may include brushing the goats, feeding treats, preparing goat meals, gardening and other activities of their preference. Our goats are affectionate and engaging and for many participants, spending time with and caring for them creates a genuine sense of connection and accomplishment.
Rate: $300 for a 4-week series. Initial trial visit $75.
Session length: 45 minutes
Approved for DDS self-directed programming and coordination with some provider agencies.
Customized Programs and Visits
Groups and individuals looking for a more personalized experience with our goats are welcome to contact us for customized visits or programs. Tailored to participants’ goals, interests, and preferences, visits may include goat care activities such as feeding and brushing, sensory and tactile experiences, nature-based projects, goat-themed educational games and gardening.
Rates vary depending on the structure and duration of the visit.
Visits are scheduled by appointment.
